Irene Van Dyk

Irene Van Dyk was born on the 21st of June 1972 and brought up in South Africa, in Vereeniging Gauteng. She is 39 years old and 1.90 meters tall.


Irene lived on a farm as a child and loved it, then after playing netball for a number of years she became the captain of the South African netball team and then moved to New Zealand in 2000. She became a citizen in 2005.



Irene Van Dyk plays goal shoot & goal attack, She won sports women of the year in 2003 as well and shoots 300 goals each day just for fun.

Irene Van Dyk is also a primary school teacher as well as a fantastic netball player. She also teaches kids to play netball. She has one daughter named Bianca. And Irene is still an inspiration to adults and children as well.


Irene Van Dyk is a busy lady that loves and is committed to all four of her jobs. I would love to have some of her skills, she inspires me because she is so busy but still gets on with life like any other person in the world! She inspires many people and no doubt she will inspire many, many more!
